Funeral services for Joseph Jackson Jones 60 years of age who passed away at the family residence 1519 6thavenue, Wednesday morning at 7:15 will be held from the Pentecostal church Thursday morning at 10 o'-clock. The Revs. Clarke and W. R Land will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak

Mr. Fontan, 64, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Fleet Reserve.
Survivors include his son, David Fontan of San Diego; a brother, Bennie Fontan of Enterprise and a special friend, Pat Ruthledge of Meridian and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Fontan and Olivia Fontan.

Mr. Waller, 79, of Meridian died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005. He was a retired employee of Meridian Public Schools. He was a member of Cathedral Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Waller; daughters, Charlotte McGlawn and her husband, Charles, Diane Nester and her husband, Ronnie, and Cindy Brewer and her husband, Darryl; son, Phillip Waller and his wife, Rhonda; grandchildren Davy McGlawn, Ronald Nester, Jr., Jeffery Nester and Rusty Brewer and his wife, Francie; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Aidan Brewer; brothers, Ansel Waller and his wife, Hope of Sherman, Tx, Durward Waller and his wife, Arla of Sherman, Tx, Dewey Waller of Mobile, Ala., Donell Waller and Dolly of Wayenesboro; sisters, Annie Lou Dearman of Waynesboro, Lettie V. Williams and her husband, Ford of Waynesboro; numerous nieces and nephews; stepsons Charles Monsour and his wife, Dawn and Robert Monsour and his wife, Donna.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Jones Waller and a special niece, Donna Ridgon.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home

Mr. Astor, 39, of De Funiak Springs, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, in De Funiak Springs. He was very talented and creative in painting and woodworking. He will be remembered for his love of animals and his sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Pettry Astor; a sister, Denise Risher and her husband, Jay, all of De Funiak Springs; a brother, David Astor Jr. of Meridian; a niece, Shaeann Smith; and nephews, David and Jeremy Astor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Joyce Astor.
